Topic Boxes for the District Libraries
Our Topic Boxes
It is one of the duties of the University and District Library to provide you with a selection of topic-related book boxes. The topics orient themselves towards the demand and the acquisition profile of the University and District Library. A Topic Box consists of approximately 20 to 40 media, including books, CD-ROMs, videos or DVDs. You can view the content of each Topic Box by clicking on the Topic Box you want.
Each library within the District can borrow a Topic Box. The loan period, which is normally three months, can be extended in certain circumstances. The Topic Box can be picked up in the libraries at Sankt Augustin and Rheinbach. If this is impossible, it is delivered and picked up by a courier.
Furthermore, you have the opportunity to reserve a Topic Box that is out on loan. Topic Boxes on loan are marked with asterisks (*).
