Citavi - Reference Management and Knowledge Organization
The University and District Library offers all university members free access to the full version of Citavi (Citavi-Pro). It is possible to download the software two times on either your private computer, your office computer or your usb-stick.
Citavi allows you to:

search over 4000 online resources right from within Citavi

import references from other reference management software and standard files
-
automatically add references to Citavi with the Citavi Picker
- accurately implement the citation style you need
- publish the same document into multiple citation styles with no extra work
and much more.

Download:
First instal the Citavi-Free-Version: www.citavi.com
Go to www.citavi.com/hbrs and order the licence key for the full version. Please use your unversity e-mail adress for authentification. The licence key and further access information will be sent to you via e-mail.
In addition you can download our configuration file. This file provides you with a selection of relevant resources (e. g. our online catalogue or the NRW library catalogue). Save this file on your Computer and upload it in Citavi under "Extras", "Einstellungen importieren".
Citavi Picker
The Citavi Picker plug-ins allow you to automatically add references to Citavi. For more information and download please go to: www.citavi.com/de/download/picker.html.
